Where have we been?

Here is the last three weeks of what we've been up to in pictures.

We solved the bee situation. Brian took the panels off in our house and sure enough there was a hive. Here he is pre-bee shot...in his protective wear!

Kaden and Ethan had a fun time playing in a trailer of black mulch. Needless to say it took a few days to wear off.
We enjoyed the fair...Ethan driving the tractors.

Kaden kissing the butts of all the petting zoo animals!???
The goats were very amused by Ethan and vic versa.
We spent some time at the state park. Picnic lunch and swimming. Things have really slowed down around the camp. It's been really nice. We have some friends visiting with their four kids. I will snap some pictures and update with the crazyness of that next!

Invasion of the Bee's!

We had a great weekend. We went to Brians parents on friday and helped pick some potatoe's. They were the most mutated potatoes I have ever seen. They were all joined together and strange looking. Nothing ever surprises me in Pops' garden!

The boys had fun being pushed in the wheelbarrow!

Friday Brian and I went to see Batman, which was very good. Then on saturday we went to the Espenshade Family Reunion. Always lots of good food!

On Sunday we took it easy and had a hotdog roast. Kaden loves to roast the dogs!

Ethan is happy just to eat. We are very proud to say that Ethan officially has one tooth!!! Hurray. The second is about to pop through any day. It's about time!

We finished off the weekend by giving the boys there monthy hair cuts. How do you like Kaden's mohawk? Don't worry grandparents, I did not leave it that way! Can you tell that Kaden wasn't impressed either!

Now to the title of the blog......I almost forgot. Yes, we are being invaded by bee's. I have been hearing them in the roof of our bathroom, buzzing. Brian has been spraying them outside where they are coming in, he's killing some, but the rest are only going to be reached by pulling down the roofing inside and spraying them. Some are already buzzing around the house so I can only imagine what's going to happen. We'll keep you posted.

We're Back

We actually never went anywhere.....but in my mind I feel like I've been gone forever! The last few weeks have been filled with extreme busyness...which of course leads to extreme exhaustion. I won't even try to recount the steps of those days. Let's just say I look forward to slower days ahead so that I can see my husband again!

Yesterday, the boys and I went to Grandma and Pops'. It was round #1 of the corn picking! I don't know how many ears we husked but I think that it was 4 or 5 wheelbarrow's full!
Here Kaden is picking ears of corn. Pops was all worked up cause Kaden kept picking too young of ears!

Ethan helped move the corn from the ground to the bucket and then back to the ground. This also got Pops worked up!

Kaden helped husk. It was a lot of work!

The boys took a nice ride in the corvette after the job was done.
